Hello everyone, I'm Smallclaw a.k.a Smally, I'm one of the owners if you didn't know that and I work and support my school environment by protesting against ignorance, cruelty and bullying that drives people to silence. A boy was killed because of his sexual orientation, and we help each other with experiences and ways to find better solutions to solve the problems that don't go away so easily or bother us more than just a tad. I've been known to give good ideas that really help, and if anyone has any experiences with bullying, witnessing anything, post it here, or a question go right a head. I don't bite.
For Example:
People say that now a days kids are more interested in violence. Why? Well personally, I'd say that in art one day an 11th grader came into the class to work on a piece of art work she was doing, and the teacher was explaining briefly why we're not allowed to bring in ipods, cell phones or any other electronic devices because they can be lost, missused. Which might effect being at school and your behavior. Like, Texting another student the answers to a test. The girl threw my friend a nasty look and thats how it started, they got into a deep fight and without shame, since It was extremely aggravating I got up to my feet from my chair, slid it back with my foot and told the girl to shut up so i could do my work in peace. Then she started to curse at me and scream. When the fight had ended and the teacher scolded me and the girl, fellow peers began to praise me and tell me what I did was awesome. I think that students are interested in violence because they think it's cool, and it will make them popular after coming to this new school as 7th graders, the lowest of the school kids, from being hot shots in 6th grade. 7th grade is a tough grade, and everyone just wants to be popular like they used to be. So, thats my theory on why kids are so happy about things like fights, you ever notice that when someone yells 'Fight! Everyone come look!' the kids all group around chanting? I believe its because its easier to be bad than good.
What do you think? When I told the girl to shut up, what else do you think I could have done to avoid my new position in the arguement?
